All Lacey Wrestling Alumni

This year’s wrestling team put together a very successful season this far finishing up with a record of 15-2. Notable wins came over Rumson Fair Haven, Colts Neck, Oakcrest, Brick Memorial (first time in 20+years) and Mendham (who sits at the very top of Group 3 in power points).

Our team has been training and competing hard the entire season earning us the #1 seed in the State Sectional Team Tournament. We will be hosting every round of the tournament in our home gym at Lacey High School. The environment of the home matches has been ELECTRIC due to a combination of the new spotlight, a condensed battlefield and new singlets for the boys to compete in.

We have been preaching the ENTIRE season how wrestling for the name on the front of our gear is more important than the name on the back. And although at times wrestling is an individual sport, we have been extremely focused on the TEAM aspect of the sport this season. Our boys are proud to represent the town of Lacey, their “hometown” and a culture change to the wrestling program as a whole.

This year’s group has all the potential to be the FIRST Lacey Wrestling Team to win a State Sectional Title in school history. With your support for next weeks duals, we believe this could be one of the most powerful environments to wrestle in across the state of NJ. The bigger the crowd the better our boys compete and the harder it will be for our opponents to remain composed.

Let’s take FULL ADVANTAGE of this year’s team earning the #1 seed and hosting the playoff run in our gymnasium. We are asking ALL LACEY wrestling alumni to come out to support the 2019 wrestling team as we chase a goal that will be a win for the town of Lacey collectively.
